How I got here
After graduating in 2001 with a degree in Ship Management, I spent two decades managing and operating various types of vessels, with over 15 years dedicated specifically to yachts. I began my career in various management roles within German ship-owning companies and commercial ship management firms, which provided a strong foundation for my current expertise in yacht management. Today, I cover the entire spectrum of yacht management, with a deep understanding of the theoretical and legislative aspects of marine assets, the design and operation of ownership structures, and the fiduciary responsibilities involved in yacht operations.
My hands-on experience in operational management, maintenance, and refurbishment of numerous yachts has given me unique insights into the lifespan of a superyacht. Additionally, I own and operate a full-service maintenance, refit, and repair business in Fort Lauderdale, enabling me to offer direct support and capabilities in major yachting hubs on both sides of the Atlantic.
