How I got here
With extensive experience as a Commercial Diver in the oil and gas industry and as a Master Mariner, I bring over 16 years of expertise in yachting, including 13 years as a Captain on private and charter vessels across the Mediterranean, Bahamas, Caribbean, and the USA. I have overseen the construction of five award-winning new builds in Turkey and Italy and managed numerous successful refits across Europe and the USA, honing my skills in operational management, compliance, and ISM regulations.
As Captain of ALUNYA, I led the vessel from its final build stages through a successful launch and delivery, culminating in a show-stopping appearance as Benetti’s showboat at the Monaco Yacht Show. ALUNYA went on to win the 2023 World Yachts award in the semi-custom division, showcasing my ability to guide vessels to industry recognition.
Throughout my career, I’ve overseen multiple award-winning yachts, including CYCLONE and SEXY FISH, both celebrated for their design excellence. My experience with yacht refits, demonstrated through my work on PATIENCE, and my background in yacht sales and management, make me a valuable asset to any yacht owner seeking top-tier service and expertise.
